Located at the north tip of Sunrise Drive this park offers boat ramp, covered picnic, play ground, lots of drift wood, lawns, horse shoe pit, great views of Seattle and shipping lanes in a addition to overnight camping.
Located at the north end of Battle Point Park at the intersection of Battle Point Dr and Frey Road. This can be difficult to find but there is a trail through the forest to Puget Sound.
This is a 318 acre park featuring a 14 acre lake, wetlands, trailing. You can find the trail head near the end of Deerpath Lane (on left side) or near the top of Marshall Road.
Located at the west edge of Blakely Harbor off Blakely Ave. This 40 acre park was the site of Port Blakely Mill in the late 1800's. This park is offers picnicking, kayaking and wildlife viewing.
This is one of my favorite parks. Long ago it served as one of the docks for the Mosquito fleet that circumvent the Island serving as taxi service. Now it is a popular fishing, scuba diving, star fish and warm beach perfect in the afternoon sun.
This in town park is near the senior center on Brien Dr. It offers expansive lawns, picnicking, public dock and boat rentals.
The City of Bainbridge Island is working to open up public road ends for use by the community. The process has been slow but is moving forward. Attached is a map printed by the COBI in 2002. It is not up to date so I encourage you to check with the city for any specifics. I have provided a map CLICK HERE so you could see the range of possible options.
